OverComers has a small food pantry that is open to members and the community by appointment only!
Members of OverComers create outreach bags which consist of personal and food item to distribute to those in need on the streets.
Outreach teams go out to street corners or local parks to pass out the outreach bags as well as offer prayer and hope.
OverComers in Christ women’s ministry is “Around the Kitchen Table”
Women’s Ministry – Acts 2:44 “…And all that believed were together, and had all things common.”
Purpose of Ministry – To bring together women through Godly love and mentoring to share ideals and businesses where we embrace, empower and support each other in life’s daily demands of ministry, motherhood, wife, sister or friendships.
“Around the Kitchen Table” meets the second Saturday of every month from February - November. Some months we meet at OverComers for a lesson and continental breakfast. Other months we meet at a restaurant for food and fellowship as well as other locations.
OverComers in Christ men’s ministry is “Honored Men of the Word”
Men’s Ministry - Proverbs 27:17 - “As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
Purpose of Ministry - To honor our belief in Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, reading, studying, and meditation on biblical scriptures and pursue and build relationships with other men.
